Very nice lunch, Hawaiian gammon steak, chips and peas. Really tasty and well cooked. Would certainly visit again although it was quite cold in the pub due to the weather changing. Well worth a visit.
Only had coffee, but the lovely young lady serving us could not of been better. Lovely cosy fire, and snuggle throws and cushions on the sofa's. Bliss.
Stopped here by chance on a dark winters night in December, cant say that it looked to inviting from the road and even the darkness of the car park, but once we walked through the door we got a warm welcome from the middle aged lady behind the bar, at this time of year I would say it was mainly locals enjoying a drink and a game of pool that were in the bar, as they all seemed to be talking to one another. We ordered our food 2x roast beef dinners and were not disappointed at all, absolutely superb just like your mum would make, the toilets were also clean and fresh smelling, 5 stars and highly recommend this place will certainly go again when in the area.
It's an okay kind of place, you know what you are going to get before you walk in. The menu is the same as hundreds of others scattered all over the country.The food was pretty good, you can always tell that when it all gets eaten.Outside is spacious and plenty for the kids to do.(warning don't sit near the door).Overall though it was fine and I would use again no problem.
