All round very good.food very good.The couple were very welcome to us both.Hope full we will visit again.
The owners are great, very friendly and very accommodating and the room was lovely & cosy with a king sized bed and ensuite. I will go back again and recommend to friends. 5
Hotel looked ok from the outside. We got put in room 7. Up one flight of normal stairs then up another really steep narrow flight with a loose hand rail up to the loft area. This landing area stunk of cheesy sweaty feet. It was hard work to get a suitcase up there. Then into the room. It was tiny. Barely enough room for the double bed and the chest of draws that was falling to bits. Only two plug sockets in the room. One tiny window. The room was like sweat box to say the least. The room could do with redecorating as signs of damp on the ceiling. Into the bathroom. First area was tight with toilet right next to the sliding door that was right next to the bed. You could almost reach out of bed to flush the loo. Which you could not do at night as it was so noisy other guests would of been woken. The shower was tiny. When you moved you did nothing but bang your elbows. Then the second part of the bathroom was through a door way where you found the wardrobe and plastic wash basin. Even the mirror was on the ceiling so was no use nor ornament. No window in the bathroom so only ventilation was via a small fan above the toilet. Only one iron and iron board to service the whole guest house. It is a quiet place and not too bad for a night or two but if we were staying longer it would of become a big issue.
Lovely owners. Very welcoming. Nothing too much trouble to make your stay nice. Very comfortable bed,clean room and tasty breakfast. Will visit again
Very freindly warm welcome room clean breakfast very nice. Only steady 20 minutes walk to clock tower. I would recommend this hotel
