Been here a few times, chips, fish cakes , sausages are nice, usually served quickly , expect Fridays & Saturdays to be naturally busy, the owner could do with smiling a bit more
Great food just have to wait 20mins before u can eat it
We always visit Linga Longa chippy when in Skegness. This time we had our 2 grand daughters with us. We went in the early evening and were able to sit outside to enjoy our fish and chips as the weather was so good. We were served by a very helpful friendly lady. Our grand daughters wanted sausage and chips and we were pleasantly surprised to find that you could order a children's meal that came with a drink a fruit strip and reading book along with the sausage n chips all in a happy meal type box. The girls loved it. Will return again when back in the area for more of the same.
If you are just looking for nice tasty fish and chips this is for you. If you are looking for good customer service then forget it. The woman who served us was unbelievably horrible and rude, like the Blair Witch on an off day. Everything was too much trouble. AVOID!!
This fish and chip shop has been in the same family for four generations now. Many years ago, as teenagers, friends and I would visit Skegness occasionally, and make a beeline for the Linga Longa. The quality of the fish and chips remains superb; it's terrific value for money, and at and around lunchtime, ( but not in the evening, I believe ), one can sit in their restaurant and eat at leisure. The staff are friendly, the food is wonderful; for my friends and I, returning for a nostalgic meal, it was a delight indeed. Go to the Linga Longa! Sit down and eat! It's a treasure.
