Wonderful best chinese takeaway in the city guaranteed quality with the house special Szechuan style
Awful food!!! Fried rice had boiled meat which was chewy and fatty!!! The boiled chicken in it was slimey!!! Tip for the chefs if you serve fried rice the meat should be fried off if wanted boiled rice and meat id ask for a different dish!!! Next the curry sauce was gloopy and tastes like lemon soap!!! Under cooked chicken ball batter was sticky on the inside. The the bbq ribs okish!! All the all every dish tasted exactly the same like lemon washing up liquid. Poor poor poor!!!!
Chose this place after checking reviews and it seemed to have the best reviews in the area. On the plus side the food was quick, I'm guessing the reason for this, however, is due to the fact it was all microwaved. Chicken curry was so bland hardly any flavour at all! Chicken within it was rubbery. Bbq sauce not what we are used to from chinese takeaways, it was really sweet. The worst part were the chips, they had definitely been reheated and were all wrinkled and dry. I barely ate a few mouthfuls and feel cheated. It is cheap but I'd rather pay more and get a decent meal.
Visiting from Scotland but been here a few times as it was recommended by the locals a couple of years ago! Never been disappointed!
Ordered food an hour ago from this Chinese called them to find out where it is cause they said it would be bout 30 - 40 mins to be told oh we have tried calling you twice on this number but your phone is off how on earth can my phone be off when Ive been sat on Facebook waiting for the food to arrive and for then to call me and if I had missed calls i would receive text messages saying you have had a missed call Im not impressed and Ive now got 2 very hungry children
